I’ve been a network marketer, a MLMer for the past 10 years. Here’s some misconceptions (video) folks can have about our industry, whether from personal experience or hearing from their friends.
I started my Young Living business cos I wanted to be home for my kids. My dream then was to be a SAHM while providing income for my family. While that dream has come to fruition 8 years ago, what I’ve gained and grew in was so much more than I could fathom. Utter self love, compassion for self and others, believing that I can be just as I am without putting on a mask, are the recents on my list.
If you have people telling you to build a MLM business for the residual income, for time freedom, and let the system do the work for you, I want you to know that this business does come with a lot of hard work. Just like any other business.
However it does not mean you need to sacrifice your health or time for family or pleasure to do this. Success is not success when you have results in one area and fail in others.
You get to choose HOW you want to grow your business. Go with what brings you joy, what aligns with your values, not what others are doing.
You’ll find that the journey will be so much more rewarding and beautiful that way.
