Rigor and Vigor. Two qualities that all entrepreneurs must embody in order to create the success they want. Let’s dive in.
What is rigor?
I get it, there’re the fun stuff to do in business… and also the not so fun stuff. Personally I love content creation and designing programs and workshops.
However activities like reviewing my data on the different platforms, researching into SEO marketing and systemising my business repeatedly so that I can get the highest yield from a “one time done” effort are also equally important. While they aren’t so fun for me, these are crucial for how I run my business and decide on the direction for the near and mid term future.
What business activities are fun and energising for you?
And also what business activities that might not necessary be fun for you, but require you to be consistent and rigorous in your effort? Have you set a consistent rhythm for it?
And then, there’s also vigor
I was often taught that the person with the highest energy (vigor) wins.
The one with the most energy wins the business pitch.
The one that portrays the most enthusiasm, attracts the most crowd.
The one that portrays the most enthusiasm, attracts the most crowd.
Energy is infectious and moves people.
Are there business activities that you’re naturally vigorous and takes on a “take charge” mentality?
And are there activities where your energy is muted? If so, what thoughts and emotions mute your energy?
