You could also add a few drops of lemongrass essential oil to a pot of simmering water on the stove or use an essential oil diffuser. In a spray bottle, combine water and white vinegar in equal parts (e.g., 1/2 cup of water and 1/2 cup of vinegar) and then add 10-15 drops of lemongrass essential oil. Shake well before each use. Claryn’s tip: I personally use it for my laundry. I’ll Add 2 drops of Lemongrass Essential Oil, 1 tablespoon baking soda and Thieves Laundry Soap into the soap tray. I’ll also add another 2 to 4 drops of essential oil into the softener compartment. This helps to freshen up my load of laundry and acts as a natural air freshener at home when I hang up the laundry for drying.
