Humility

Excerpt from Gary Young:

Humility

Great need for all of us. It is easy to get caught up in our own agendas, egos and lose Humility. Use with Acceptance and Surrender. It is hard to practice humility when we are angry but it is that time that we need to be humble.

Put on your ears, chest and your knees. “There will come a time when every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess”, when you are humble, God can work through you.

When you go into a hotel room, you never know who has been there before. Sprinkle Purification on the carpet, and put Humility on the air vent. You know those moments when you actually feel great before going into the hotel room and the minute you enter, get your clothes and toiletries up, you feel frustrated. That’s because you picked someone else’s stuff up. Learn to clear the space you go into so you don’t take on other people’s stuff.

Gratitude and Humility moves you out of fear.

Geranium, Ylang ylang – Opening the heart and liver

Frankincense, Spikenard and Myrrh – Opening the brain

Rose, Rosewood, Melissa, Neroli – Creates a feeling of receptivity and humility. Agents in chemistry that helps us to calm and relax our sympathetic and parasympathetic system.

True humility is the foundation of emotional strength.

Declare “I am ready, and aware!”

You know the feeling of profound ease, wonderment, and awe that comes over you when you look up at the vastness of a starry sky or out at the endless horizon of the ocean? That’s quite possibly, the best way that I could ever explain humility.

The greatest leaders, the greatest inventors, the greatest scholars share the common denominator of deep humility. They KNOW they know so little. What’s more, they have a deep acceptance of others because everyone only knows what they know, and nothing more.

And yet more profound than that, is the realization that everyday awareness expands for not only ourselves, but for others. And it is this very perspective which compels them to keep shooting for the stars and sailing for far-off sunsets with hope, trust, grace, and ease.

Many don’t know that Gary intended Humility as the first step in emotional transformation. Use before Surrender. Use before Highest Potential. Use before Forgiveness. For it puts one’s soul in a setting of Infinite Possibility as you discover your own infinite…. layer, by layer.
